Meet the elite team behind Professional Evaluators—former NFL players, coaches, and executives who know what it takes to succeed at the next level.
Lionel Vital, a four-time Super Bowl Champion and 35-year NFL veteran, has dedicated his career to identifying and developing football talent. As a former NFL Executive, Scout, and Player, he has worked with elite organizations, including the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Football Team, Buffalo Bills, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL). Most recently, he served as the Director of College Scouting for the Dallas Cowboys before retiring in 2022.
With Professional Evaluators, Lionel’s vision is to give every athlete a clear, honest assessment of their abilities—just as teams do at the professional level. His goal is to equip athletes with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to maximize their potential and take their game to the next level. By offering expert evaluations and mentorship, he hopes to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, helping players showcase their skills, improve their performance, and open doors to future success.
Antonio Robinson, originally from Miami, Florida, is a former NFL player who achieved the pinnacle of success by winning the Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers. He honed his football skills at Nicholls state University before playing junior college football in Minnesota.
Joe Womack has a jeweler’s eye for talent on the evaluation side...but Joe has gained a wealth of “nuts-and-bolts” experience over the years in every core facet of the game of football as well as the business of football.
An all-state QB at Baton Rouge HS, Joe also was an all-state champion in track & field. He went on to attend LSU and graduated in 1969. A multi-sport athlete for the Tigers, Joe served in the Army from 1969-1971.
Sgt. Womack survived a tour in Harm’s Way in Vietnam to come home and launch his pro career as a versatile player...which led him into the Continental and World Leagues and NFL. He also made a solid mark in the CFL.
Over the years, Joe Womack has been a key contributor in several ways to a number of pro teams - and both leagues - on each side of the border. His staff and coaching skills - and executive savvy - are second to none.
Joe has a special knack for dealing with the ever-more-crucial PR aspects of professional football...and nothing is more crucial to the welfare of a franchise than a dedicated fan- base that grasps the challenge at hand.
Even a franchise that enjoys a deep fund of historical good will backed by success on the playing field still faces a daunting array of short-term and long-term problems. In that sense, the only time is “right now.”
The wise decisiveness of Joe Womack has been dearly earned in all the trenches that criss-cross the harsh interior (and unseen terrain) of pro football. In every way, Joe personifies the term of “football man.”
I am a highly successful high school football coach and college football player personnel administrator with 27 years of experience! I have passion for nurturing talent and building winning programs. My journey in the world of football has spanned decades, beginning as a quarterback at West Virginia University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sports Management in December 1990. This foundation not only shaped my understanding of the game but also equipped me with essential skills that I have applied throughout my career.
In my most recent position, I served as the Chief of Staff/General Manager of Player Personnel at Temple University. I was in this role from March 2023- March 2025. In this capacity, I supervised the entire football coaching and support staff, ensuring that we met position needs and complied with NCAA and Title IX regulations. My responsibilities extend to writing detailed evaluations for high school, junior college, and transfer portal prospects, managing gameday analytics with our Head Coach, and overseeing the recruitment efforts of the Owls football program. I take pride in promoting our football camps, assisting with compliance issues, and onboarding new players and coaches, all while serving as a liaison with the NFL and professional football organizations.
Before my time at Temple, I worked as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Michigan State University, where I played an integral role in supporting the recruiting efforts of the Spartans. My experience there helped me refine my skills in advanced scouting, player evaluations, and general recruiting operations, further solidifying my dedication to the development of young athletes.
I spent six impactful years as the Director of Recruiting at the University of Maryland, where I assisted in signing five Top 35 recruiting classes as rated by 247Sports. My role involved coordinating gameday operations for recruits, monitoring top prospects, and ensuring that all evaluations were meticulously logged and organized. The relationships I built with prospects and their families during campus tours were instrumental in creating a welcoming environment at Maryland.
My career also includes valuable experiences at Rutgers University and the University of Illinois as Director of Player Personnel, where I was responsible for organizing recruiting efforts and gameday operations. My 5 year tenure at the University of North Carolina further enriched my experience, contributing to the signing of two consecutive Top 25 recruiting classes. Over the years, I have developed a keen eye for talent and a strategic approach to recruitment that has proven successful time and again.
In addition to my college-level experience, I began my coaching career at Friendly High School in Fort Washington, MD, where I served as Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for over a decade. During this time, I helped lead the team to three Maryland State Championships while also advising student-athletes and their families on the complexities of the college football recruiting process. My commitment to monitoring academic progress ensured that our players remained eligible for NCAA competition.
My experiences with the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars as a Player Personnel Intern provided me with a unique perspective on the professional side of football, where I honed my evaluation skills and learned the importance of data in player assessments.
With a tireless work ethic and a highly organized approach, I am dedicated to positively enhancing top college football programs. I look forward to continuing my journey in this dynamic field, mentoring young athletes, and fostering an environment where they can thrive both on and off the field.
